Room options are available to suit different budgets and preferences, making it an ideal choice for active travellers. Coal Miners’ Cabins has 76 rooms with 4 room types available. When it comes to dining options, lunch and dinner are served at the Coal Miners’ Bar & Grill. Another choice is the old ‘stormessa’, the miners’ mess hall that served them since 1948. Today, Coal Miners’ Cabins’ chefs prepare warming dishes, including cheese fondue and burgers and vegetarian and vegan dishes. Guests also enjoy a breakfast buffet in the ‘stormessa’, perfect for starting your Arctic adventures.

From expert naturalists to thrilling wildlife encounters (tigers, leopards, 140 species of birds), awe-inspiring temples, the Taj Mahal, scenic walks and warm, welcoming people – not to mention the fantastic curry – it was a truly superb holiday. “Ultimate” really is “91�Թ�”!

“FLAWLESS, AGAIN”

This is the third time I’ve used TUTC. The service, as before, was flawless. Aside from putting in place all the major details of a complex trip to Japan, Dan at TUTC nailed every detail: train tickets were for seats with large luggage space (very important in Japan, as we discovered); a mobile internet wifi was included; together with a pre-charged use-pretty-much-anywhere travel card (again, important – Japan has multiple transport companies). For any kind of complex trip I won’t go anywhere else.
