The island does indeed have a love of life and all that goes with it. You’ll discover an endless procession of small villages, each more charming than the previous, and each with its own raison d’être. The mountain villages offer stunning views, religious sites and renowned vineyards. Curium has a wonderful amphitheatre that’s still used for concerts. Kolossi has a powerful Crusader castle. Pedoulas is famous for cherries and its Byzantine museum. Lania is the painter’s village. Lefkara and Omodos create lace. Zygi has the island’s best seafood and Pissouri has a wonderful beach.
